Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

• Design mechanical layouts of PCC & MCC panels, including internal and external views.
• Prepare cutting and punching drawings for laser cutting of sheet metal panels.
• Create fabrication and assembly drawings for electrical enclosures and support structures.
• Ensure optimal component placement, ventilation, and service accessibility.
• Coordinate with electrical design engineers for integration of wiring schematics and component sizing.
• Apply relevant industry standards (IEC) and manufacturing tolerances. Required Skills & Tools : Proficiency in AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor
• Experience in PCC & MCC panel mechanical design
• Strong understanding of sheet metal design and panel fabrication
• Ability to produce precise cutting drawings for fabrication
• Familiarity with TI (L AND K) Panel (optional but preferred)
• Knowledge of standard electrical components and mounting systems (busbars, ACBs, contactors, VFDs, etc.)

Qualification & Experience :

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2+ years of experience in mechanical design of electrical panels (PCC / MCC / Control Panels)

Hands-on experience working with panel manufacturers is a plus
