An architect   plans, designs, and oversees construction of buildings and other structures, translating client visions into reality by preparing blueprints, coordinating with engineers and builders, and ensuring projects comply with budgets, safety regulations, and building codes.

They work in offices to develop plans and visit construction sites to monitor progress.
