We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Trainer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for ServiceNow platforms and modules. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow along with a proven track record of training IT professionals, administrators, and end-users. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow functionalities, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
As a ServiceNow Trainer, you will play a critical role in empowering employees and clients with the knowledge required to maximize their use of ServiceNow, enhance productivity, and align ServiceNow solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Design and deliver interactive training sessions on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, and GRC.
- Conduct both classroom and virtual training for technical teams, administrators, developers, and end-users.
- Adapt training methodologies based on audience skill levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced).
- Use real-world examples, case studies, and live demonstrations to enhance understanding.
- Content Development & Customization
- Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids.
- Customize training content to align with organizational requirements, industry best practices, and ServiceNow release updates.
- Ensure course content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with ServiceNow’s evolving ecosystem.
- Assessment & Feedback
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, and hands-on labs to evaluate participant learning and retention.
- Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Provide post-training support and mentorship to help learners apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR, IT, and leadership teams to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, architects, and implementation consultants to ensure practical alignment of training with project requirements.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow product roadmaps and integrate new features into training programs.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor training outcomes and recommend enhancements to programs for maximum impact.
- Keep abreast of ServiceNow certifications, industry trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior trainers and contribute to the knowledge-sharing culture within the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow across multiple modules.Proven experience as a technical trainer, corporate trainer, or ServiceNow instructor.Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow best practices.Expertise in ServiceNow workflows, form customization, reporting, and integrations.Familiarity with ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Application Developer (preferred).Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simplified learning materials.Strong organizational and time management skills.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
