Role & responsibilities :
1. Responsible for Traffic Modeling and simulation for national highway DBFOT projects through software like VISUM, or others.
2. Prepare and verify traffic demand forecasts, capacity studies, and traffic impact analyses in accordance with project goals.
3. Develop and assess traffic management plans that will maximize highway performance during construction and operation stages.
4. Work with project planners, engineers, and financial personnel to incorporate traffic modeling information into operational and design practices.
5. Support risk assessment and provide input for financial and operational project evaluations related to traffic performance.
Key Skills :
1.Extensive experience working on DBFOT / PPP projects.
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, especially in traffic demand forecasting and capacity analysis.
3. Experience in preparing comprehensive traffic impact studies, reports, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and financiers.
5. Familiarity with transportation planning software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is preferred.
Preferred candidate profile :
1. Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers and cross-functional coordination.
3. Professional certification in traffic or transportation engineering.
