Description : About the Role :
As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data-informed product decisions through deep analytical insights.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze user behavior, measure feature performance, and identify opportunities for product optimization.
This role requires advanced expertise in SQL, data visualization (Tableau), and a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence strategy and improve user experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with product managers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for product features and initiatives.
- Perform in-depth analyses on user engagement, retention, conversion funnels, and growth experiments.
- Conduct A / B testing and interpret results to guide data-driven decision-making.
- Identify trends, usage patterns, and product performance drivers using SQL and Tableau dashboards.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product features, UX, and overall business performance.
- Design, build, and maintain automated Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs, user journeys, and operational metrics.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines, quality, and accessibility.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems and analytics platforms.
- Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to align on product goals and performance metrics.
- Communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support leadership with strategic insights and data-driven narratives during quarterly business reviews or roadmap planning or Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience :
48 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst in a product-focused or technology-driven environment.Proven track record of delivering insights that influenced product strategy or user growth.Technical Skills :
Advanced SQL skills (data extraction, joins, CTEs, window functions, performance optimization).Strong experience with Tableau (dashboard development, storyboards, calculated fields, data blending).Proficiency in data analysis and statistical concepts (A / B testing, cohort analysis, regression, trend forecasting).Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (preferred).Familiarity with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL workflows.Experience using product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics (a plus)(ref : hirist.tech)
