SEO Executive

Job Description - VelivoHR is looking for SEO Executive for one of their client who is a leading digital marketing agency in Mumbai.

Location - Mumbai, Maharshtra.

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Page Optimization

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and keyword mapping.

Optimize meta tags, headers, image tags, URLs, and internal linking.

Improve content structure, readability, and E-E-A-T alignment.

Implement structured data (FAQ, How To, Article, etc.) with guidance from senior team members.

2. Technical SEO

Perform site audits to identify issues related to crawling, indexing, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile friendliness.

Coordinate with development teams to support implementation of technical fixes.

Monitor and update sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.

3. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

Optimize content to rank for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, and AI Overviews.

Create or refine Q&A content, how-to sections, FAQs, and answer-focused formats.

Support in implementing schema and ensuring content meets answer-engine requirements.

Track performance across AI-powered search platforms.

4. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

Execute link-building activities including outreach, guest posting, and digital PR support.

Monitor backlinks and track off-page performance.

5. Reporting & Analytics

Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and page-level performance.

Prepare weekly / monthly reports with insights for internal and client teams.

Use GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools for daily monitoring.

6. Collaboration & Execution

Work with content, design, and tech teams to ensure SEO requirements are met.

Support the SEO Manager in executing planned strategies.

Maintain documentation of tasks, updates, and performance progress.

Required Qualifications

2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).

Basic understanding of AEO, Featured Snippets, and AI-driven search behavior.

Proficiency with tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.

Understanding of keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO fundamentals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS is an advantage.

Good communication and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ecommerce SEO or large content websites.

Exposure to schema markup tools and AI-based SEO tools.

Certification in SEO or Google Analytics is a plus.
