Gigamon is seeking a Principal Engineer for QA. Principal Engineer represents the technical leadership within the QA organisation. The candidate should have extensive experience Network / Security Product Testing and proficient in Test Automation. Responsible to test and qualify highly scalable and robust Visibility solution and provide technical guidance to the team. The suitable candidate should have strong technical background in Networking / Security domain.Description Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provide Process and Technical Leadership in the development of Test Strategies and plans across the Gigamon Visibility products including protocols such as TCP / IP, HTTP, SSL, Encryption technologies, etc. to provide Enterprise / cloud / Hybrid security.
• Understand Product architecture and its implications on feature and system testing
• Bring innovation, creativity and track record of expertise to advance our commitment to Automation of Functional, Performance and Stress Testing
• Interface with the Product Management and other Architects team to ensure requirements compliance, determine release readiness and triage defects discovered in the field
• Review major deliverables to ensure product quality and ensure quality delivery to Customer
• Lead horizontal (multi-functional teams – Engineers from Functional, System Test, Performance team) in problem resolution and process improvement activities with emphasis on lean process
• Utilize quality measures and metrics to drive the team towards technical excellence and continuous improvement
