AWS RDS Support-PAN India

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced AWS RDS Engineer to manage, optimize, and maintain our cloud-based relational database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server), database performance tuning, automation, backup strategies, and high availability setups.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS RDS instances (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Aurora).
• Manage database backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and scalability .
• Implement security best practices including encryption, IAM roles, and access controls.
• Automate routine database maintenance tasks using AWS CLI, CloudFormation, or Terraform .
• Collaborate with DevOps and Application teams to design efficient database architectures .
• Handle database migrations to / from RDS or between engines using AWS DMS.
• Conduct capacity planning , cost optimization , and performance analysis .
• Manage replication , read replicas , and failover configurations .
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure minimal downtime.
