We’re Hiring — Video Test Engineer (Multimedia Validation | Android | Snapdragon Platform)

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 2+Years

Notice Period : Immediate / 30 Days Preferred

Are you passionate about multimedia systems, video technologies, and Android platform validation? We are looking for Video Test Engineers to work on next-generation Snapdragon-based devices.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end validation for :

• Video capture
• Encoding & decoding
• Playback & streaming

Test & triage issues across :

Validate system KPIs including :

Execute & improve automated test suites (Python / ADB / Test frameworks)

Debug using tools like :

QXDM | Systrace | Perfetto | logcat | kmsg | mm_camera / mm_codec logs

Validate under edge conditions : thermal throttling, stress, memory pressure & power collapse

Support SoC bring-up, BSP releases, OEM validation cycles

Required Skills

Strong understanding of video codec fundamentals (H.264, HEVC, AV1, VP9, HDR10 / HLG)

Android multimedia frameworks and HAL exposure

Debugging experience with crashes, ANRs, dropped frames, A / V sync

Hands-on experience with tools :

ffmpeg | VLC | GStreamer | adb | QXDM

Knowledge of buffer pipelines (ION / Gralloc)

Scripting experience — Python or Shell

Good to Have

Camera HAL3 / Display (MDSS) understanding

Performance profiling : Perfetto, Trepn, Snapdragon Profiler

HDR, Dolby Vision workflows or AI-based video enhancement

OEM / product launch experience

Qualification : B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech — ECE / CSE / EE

Experience : 1–7 years in Multimedia or Video Validation
