Job Title : Tech Lead

Location : Bangalore, India (Candidates must be based in Bangalore)

Employment Type : Full-Time | 1-Year Contract

JOMS (Just One More Step) combines creativity and technology to develop innovative products that elevate customer experiences. We are building a disruptive platform and are looking for a Tech Lead to drive architecture, hands-on development, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & System Design : Own and implement micro-services architecture using Spring Boot (Java / Kotlin).
  • Security : Enforce API security best practices, including JWT-based authentication / authorisation.
  • DevOps & CI / CD : Set up pipelines, containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP).
  • Hands-on Development : Lead development of backend services and Flutter-based mobile / web applications.
  • Code Quality : Establish coding standards, conduct reviews, and implement automated testing.
  • Mentorship : Guide developers, collaborate with product managers, and drive Agile execution.
  • Troubleshooting : Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in full-stack development, with 2+ years as Tech Lead or Architect
  • .Strong expertise in Java / Kotlin, Spring Boot, Micro-services, JWT security
  • .Proven experience with Flutter & Dart for cross-platform apps and web panels
  • .Knowledge of distributed systems, REST / gRPC APIs, SQL / NoSQL databases, and message queues
  • .Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • .Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
