Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including financial reporting, auditing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties include preparing financial statements, overseeing tax filings and compliance, coordinating with internal and external auditors, and providing financial analysis and insights. The Senior Accountant will also participate in developing accounting policies and procedures and support cross-functional teams with financial information.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting, and Auditing

Experience with Taxation, Compliance, and Regulatory Filings

Skills in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting

Proficiency in Accounting Software and ERP Systems

Excellent Communication, Analytical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively within a Team

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; A Qualified or Semi-Qualified candidate is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience in the Chartered Accountancy sector or similar industries beneficial
