Location : Remote (CST Time zone)

Salary Range : up to 1200 USD

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (CST)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our team. This role involves leveraging advanced GIS tools, analyzing title research, and integrating survey data for energy projects. You will work with a collaborative team to maintain accurate GIS databases and provide actionable insights for project success.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement GIS solutions, creating detailed maps and integrating tax parcel records with survey data.
Manage and maintain GIS databases, ensuring the accuracy and security of sensitive information.
Review legal documents, such as property descriptions and title documents, to define boundaries.
Utilize ArcGIS Online and related applications to produce reports and visualizations.
Support analysis of property leases, including determining Held By Production (HBP) status through historical maps and records.

Mandatory Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field (strongly preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of GIS experience, particularly in energy or land services contexts.

Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves :

Experience in energy-related fields, such as solar or oil and gas.

Familiarity with property law and relevant documentation.

Programming skills in SQL, Python, or Java for data manipulation and analysis.
