VMware VCF / Aria Automation Senior Consultant (8–15 Years)

We are seeking an experienced VMware Automation Senior Consultant with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware Aria Automation to deliver and support automation solutions across hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware Aria Automation (vRA / vRO).
• Develop and support automation workflows, blueprints, and IaC using Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
• Integrate VMware automation with AWS, Azure, or GCP to support hybrid cloud operations.
• Work with infrastructure and application teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable automation solutions.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of VMs, networking, storage, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation, orchestration, and integration issues.
• Optimize performance, governance, and operational efficiency within VCF environments.
• Document automation solutions and support knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Assist in capacity planning and performance optimization activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in VMware infrastructure and automation roles.
• Hands-on experience with:
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• VMware Aria Automation & Aria Orchestrator (vRA / vRO)
• vSphere, vCenter, ESXi
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including automation and integration.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud automation, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) preferred.
• Exposure to containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and promote automation best practices.
