Job Title : Operations & Program Management Intern (Remote, IST)

Company : NextLeapAcademy (AI-Focused Online Education Startup based on Canada)

Location : Fully Remote (must be available during Indian Standard Time hours)

Internship Duration : 3 months (with high potential for a permanent position and significant salary increase upon successful completion)

Job Overview

NextLeapAcademy is seeking a proactive, organized, and tech-savvy intern based in India to support daily operations for its rapidly growing AI education platform. This is a unique paid opportunity to work directly with founders, learn hands-on about the business of AI course delivery, and contribute to a modern, global startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, host, and manage live Zoom sessions for various AI classes and Masterclasses.​
  • Maintain and update enrollment data, track student participation, and support onboarding processes.
  • Create visually engaging presentations and course materials (Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word required).​
  • Communicate professionally with learners to address queries, send updates, and collect feedback.
  • Contribute to general community management and foster a positive, engaging online learning environment.
  • Support basic sales activities : follow-ups with prospective students, communicate offers, and assist in community promotions.​
  • Collaborate on special projects and learn operational best practices in a high-growth AI startup.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student data and handle administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, ongoing study, or strong relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal); strong communication skills are essential.
  • Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong interest in AI, tech, or startup culture.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or online community experience is a plus.
  • Sales mindset and willingness to experiment with growth initiatives.
