Product Safety and Compliance (PS&C) - Senior Specialist

Knowledge and Skills :

• Expanding knowledge of Lubrizol chemistry business units and commercial activities
• Expanding depth of knowledge in chemical control laws / regulations and other regulatory topics including those outside core responsibility
• Thorough knowledge of Lubrizol information systems and tools and other internal / external systems and databases as required to be a productive and effective contributo
• Deep understanding of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and relevant ministries QCO certification frameworks & familiarity with BIS based regulatory landscapes across relevant ministries especially for QCOs
• Expertise in Quality Control Orders (QCOs)scope applicability and enforcement mechanisms relevant to preferably inChemical and petrochemicals industries.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and propose solutions
• Advances problems toward resolution despite ambiguity or uncertainty; escalates responsibly and to the right level
• Effectively communicates to global team members and senior leaders within PSCD.
• Effectively presents technical and regulatory information and adjusts communication practices for both internal and external audiences as necessary.
• Demonstrates a high level of adaptability in ambiguous environments with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Demonstrates solid client management skills. Communicates issues with supervisor develops and may lead communication plans (as needed).
