Job description

Full-Time Contract Opportunity : Full Stack Engineer- TypeScript

Duration- 3-4 weeks with a possible 3-month extension

Key Responsibilities :

  • Integrate existing APIs into MCP server environments.
  • Build high-quality mock API behavior with core business logic.
  • Create lightweight backend services, endpoint orchestration, and modular server logic.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, strongly-typed TypeScript and Node.js code.
  • Collaborate closely with Handshake’s engineering team for alignment and iteration.
  • Translate evolving requirements into well-structured engineering tasks.
  • Own technical decisions required to execute the integration end-to-end.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years full-stack engineering experience.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Strong background in API integrations, REST patterns, and mock API design.
  • Experience building or integrating MCP servers (highly preferred).
