Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the company’s NPI (New Product Introduction) and NPI project management systems.
• Plan and drive NPI project management for mobile phone product development : define strategy, develop project plans, identify and assess risks, design countermeasures, control milestones, drive execution, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate the end-to-end NPI process from R&D through delivery and ensure alignment across all NPI stages.
• Lead and execute early-stage reviews of mechanical structure, manufacturing processes, assembly flows and feasibility during product development.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Planning and R&D to perform supplier management activities specific to NPI projects.
• Plan and lead pilot / try-out production runs, capture and summarize issues, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Plan, drive and own production-line capacity and yield improvement initiatives;

manage and resolve production-line abnormalities.
