Mainframe Engineer IIExperience : 6–9 yearsLocation : BangaloreWork Model : Hybrid (3 days in Amex office)Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.Work with DB2 for data management and SQL queries.Participate in application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Ensure coding standards, documentation, and compliance with best practices.Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations.Assist with implementation of IMS, MQ, and scheduling tools where applicable.Qualifications : 6–9 years of experience in mainframe development and support.Strong programming skills in COBOL , DB2 , and JCL .Knowledge of IMS, MQ , and scheduling tools is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days in the office in Bangalore.
