Email Deliverability Consultant

Grow Your Staff is looking for an Email Deliverability & Infrastructure Consultant for a company based in the UK. The position is a part-time, contractual position.

We are seeking an individual with in-depth expertise in email deliverability and backend infrastructure to help resolve current challenges and establish sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

Audit and optimize company’s current email infrastructure (DNS, SMTP relays, ESP / CRM integrations)

Diagnose and resolve authentication issues, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC

Monitor and improve sender reputation, manage blocklists, and liaise with ISPs

Provide guidance on IP / domain warming, content governance, volume thresholds, and list hygiene best practices

Set up deliverability monitoring systems using industry tools (e.g., Postmaster Tools, GlockApps, SNDS)

Train Sales / BDR teams on sustainable email outreach practices and compliance

Requirements

Proven track record in improving email deliverability and inbox placement rates

Strong technical expertise in DNS, SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC

Familiarity with email infrastructure tools and deliverability monitoring platforms

Experience handling blocklist removals and liaising with ISPs (Outlook)

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Microsoft 365, HubSpot, or other ESPs / CRMs, though not mandatory

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Demonstrated hands-on projects or case studies in improving email deliverability for organizations

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, HubSpot, or other ESP / CRM platforms is a bonus
