In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
Key Requirements
- Process various trade finance transactions including letters of credit, guarantees, Export collections and documentary credits, BCIA, RA disbursement
- Perform inward and outward processing of trade transactions such as receipt and delivery of documents, payment processing and reconciliations
- Assist in processing of various loan transactions including disbursements, repayments and interest calculations
- Manage processing of current accounts including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures
- Reconcile nostro accounts on a regular basis to resolve any discrepancies
- Collection of drawdown request and raising disbursement request in system, document management and archival
- Proficient in using Microsoft office applications
- Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication
- Signature verification and ensuring the documents are in order
- Liaison with RM / Customer service manager for resolution of any client issues / challenges in loan processing
- Ensure coordination with Compliance, regulators, and auditor teams for reporting as required by IFSCA Regulations
- Respond to Ad-Hoc regulatory demand and act s single point of point for support functions including compliance, legal, technology and other teams
Required Experience
Excellent Client / Customer management skills, business orientationCapable for handling trade financeBe capable to ensure smooth transition without impacting customer deliverables, to manage processes and metrics on a day-to-day basisSound experience in Loan operation and syndicated loansGood understanding of Foreign loans Benchmarked under Reference rate like SOFR , ESTR etcShould be having capabilities to effectively handle all types of customer complaints, enquiries QueriesA positive and attitude to work in a team and provide proper assistance and support to the team as requiredPrior experience of managing GIFT city Branch operations would be preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsFamiliarity with bank reconciliation and payment processing systemsAbility to multi-task and work independently under time pressureCommitment to integrity, accuracy and complianceExperience in the Gift City would be an advantageEducation / Preferred Qualifications
Graduate / Post GraduateOverall experience of 3 to 8 years in the Financial Services industryCore Competencies
