SAP FICO Functional Consultant the Job

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, strong subject matter expertise, and the ability to lead and manage team efforts. This role is critical in driving the design, configuration, implementation, and support of our SAP Finance and Controlling solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Key & Implementation

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, covering all sub-modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing (PC).
• Lead and execute end-to-end SAP FICO implementation cycles, including blueprinting, gap analysis, configuration, customization, testing, training, data migration, and post-go-live support.
• Design and implement solutions with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and statutory regulations.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments (RICEF - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) and collaborate closely with ABAP developers.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 7.5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO as a Functional Consultant.

Education : Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory. A specialization in Finance is highly preferred.
