Manager - Presales Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Presales Manager Network Services to lead and drive presales activities for our networking solutions portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in network infrastructure, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills to engage with clients and internal teams.
You will play a critical role in supporting sales by delivering compelling technical solutions, responding to RFPs, and collaborating with customers and partners to architect tailored network solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead presales engagements with prospective and existing clients focused on network services including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud networking.
- Understand customer requirements and design customized network architectures and solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop win strategies, respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical bids.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in network technologies, vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.), and emerging trends.
- Manage and mentor a team of presales engineers or consultants, ensuring their continuous development.
- Support deal closure by providing technical validation and addressing client concerns.
- Assist in contract negotiations and support post-sales handover activities.
- Maintain documentation of solution architectures, proposals, and engagement records.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors / master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in presales or solution architect roles focused on network services.Strong knowledge of network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, network monitoring, and cloud networking.Experience with major network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.Proven track record in handling large enterprise deals and complex network solutions.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand customer business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.Experience with cloud platforms and integration of network services with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships(ref : iimjobs.com)
