Description

We are urgently hiring for the position of Medical Coding. This role is ideal for freshers / entry-level candidates who are looking to start their career in the healthcare industry. As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that medical records are accurately coded for billing and insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze patient records to determine the appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
  • Assign accurate codes for medical services and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines set by insurance companies and government agencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
  • Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in medical coding systems including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in coding.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA) is preferred but not mandatory for freshers.

D. / D. Psych.), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
