About the job

Scope

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor in optimizing deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of our cloud-connected mobile applications on iOS and Android.

Our Current Technical Environment

Software : GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry

Application Architecture : Containerized deployments in Kubernetes (AKS), API security and authentication with AAD and OIDC

Cloud Architecture : Azure-focused, utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and cloud storage

What You'll Do

You will design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm, and oversee containerized deployments in Kubernetes on Azure.

Your expertise in identity and access management, including AAD, OIDC, and Gravitee, will be critical in securing authentication and API access.

You will collaborate closely with mobile engineers, backend teams, and security architects to enforce best practices in security, observability, and performance monitoring.

This is a unique opportunity to drive DevOps innovation in mobile development, enhance real-time shipment tracking and inventory management capabilities, and play a pivotal role in scaling Blue Yonder's mobility platform.

What We Are Looking For

DevOps & CI / CD : 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for mobile or cloud applications. Strong proficiency with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins to automate builds, testing, and deployments. Experience with mobile release management, including automated App Store and Google Play deployments. Proficiency in Python for writing automation scripts, custom build tools, or integrating CI / CD workflows.

Cloud & Infrastructure as Code : Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and cloud storage solutions. Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm to manage scalable deployments. Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools like ELK Stack, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.

Security & Identity Management : Deep understanding of OIDC authentication flows, AAD, and secure API access. Experience implementing API gateways such as Gravitee for traffic management and security. Proven ability to integrate IAM solutions that align with enterprise security policies.

Performance Optimization & Observability : Experience in monitoring application performance, optimizing mobile and backend interactions, and implementing distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry or Azure Application Insights. Knowledge of best practices for network performance tuning, log aggregation, and real-time error tracking.

Mobile Development & Backend Integration : Familiarity with mobile architectures and best practices for integrating backend services. Experience working with microservices in Node.js / TypeScript and designing RESTful APIs for scalable, efficient data exchanges. Proficiency in NoSQL databases like MongoDB for real-time data synchronization with mobile applications.
