VARITE is currently a primary and direct vendor to the leading corporations in the verticals of Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Hardware and Software, Digital Marketing and Media Solutions, Clinical Diagnostics, Utilities, Gaming and Entertainment, and Financial Services.About The Job : About The Job : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Design Engineer to join our team.The candidate should have a strong background in block-level Place & Route (PnR) and physical verification, along with excellent analytical and debugging capabilities.This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Essential Job Functions : Essential Job Functions : Own and drive block-level physical design activities including floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and optimization.Perform physical verification (DRC, LVS, ERC, Antenna checks) and resolve issues in collaboration with relevant teams.Have hands on experience in IR drop analysis and the fixes.Work closely with RTL designers, STA engineers, and packaging / layout teams to ensure design closure.Analyze and debug timing, congestion, and DRC / LVS issues efficiently.Contribute to methodology development and automation for improved design efficiency.Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.Qualifications : Qualifications : Required Skills : 7–10 years of hands-on experience in block-level PnR and physical verification.Proficiency in tools such as Innovus, ICC2, Primetime, Calibre, or equivalent.Strong understanding of timing closure, power optimization, and signal integrity.Excellent analytical and debugging skills.Effective communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and geographies.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, VLSI, or related field.Preferred : Experience with advanced nodes.Exposure to low-power design techniques and multi-voltage domains.Familiarity with scripting languages (TCL, Perl, Python) for automation.How to Apply : Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume using the apply online button on this job post.Equal Opportunity Employer : VARITE is an equal opportunity employer.
