Job description

Job Title : Security Expert

Department : IT / Network Security

Location : Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Experience Required : Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role

Qualification :

BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field
CISSP or equivalent Network Administrator–level certification (or higher certification)

Job Responsibilities :

Plan and implement comprehensive security policies and practices for the entire IT infrastructure.

Perform regular signature updates , manage antivirus and patch updates , and ensure blocking of unwanted network traffic .

Manage and maintain network security operations on a day-to-day basis.

Monitor and respond to flooding, DoS, and intrusion attempts in real time during office hours.

Conduct regular security audits , vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary preventive measures.

Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure network integrity and data protection .

Maintain updated documentation for all security configurations, incidents, and resolutions .

Skills & Competencies :

Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS / IPS systems, and VPNs .

Hands-on experience in security monitoring tools and incident response management .

Proficiency in patch management, endpoint protection, and access control mechanisms .

Ability to analyze logs , identify threats, and provide corrective actions promptly.

Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
