Overview :
The Program Manager will play a key role in planning, executing, and closing program within the organization. They will be responsible for coordinating various project activities, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities :
1. Program Planning :
- Develop detailed program plans, outlining goals, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
2. Program Execution :
Lead and coordinate teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Monitor progress against timelines and milestones.Implement activities, ensuring compliance with plans and objectives.3. Representation :
Represent TEACH in forums and network events.4. Resource Management :
Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet goals.Work with the HR and COE department to recruit, train, and manage teachers and staff.Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment for implementation.5. Monitoring and Evaluation :
Establish monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track performance.Co-operate and adhere to audits conducted by COE or any other Authority.Conduct regular reviews and assessments to measure outcomes.Use evaluation data to make informed decisions and improve effectiveness.6. Budget Management :
Monitor program expenditures and ensure adherence to the approved budget.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.7. Stakeholder Engagement :
Cultivate and maintain relationships with program stakeholders, including donors, partner organizations, and community members.Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders in a transparent manner.8. Reporting :
Prepare regular reports on status, including operational, and impact metrics.Submit timely and accurate reports to donors and other relevant parties.9. Capacity Building :
Identify training needs for staff and facilitate capacity-building initiatives.Foster a learning environment within the team.Qualifications :
Master's degree (e.g. : MBA, Project Management)Proven experience in project management within the educational sector.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Commitment to the mission and values of the organisation.Job Type : Full-time
