Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira / ADO.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting.
• Provide input for test automation strategy and assist in basic automation tasks when needed.Required Skills
• 4–6 years of experience in Manual QA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Good to Have
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Experience in HR Tech domain or similar enterprise applications.
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
