Filmy Fiction is an 8-year-old advertising and film production powerhouse, known for delivering end-to-end creative video solutions across fashion, fintech, lifestyle, healthcare, real estate, and consumer tech. From quirky digital ads to premium brand films, we pride ourselves on being a 24 / 7 creative partner for some of India’s most exciting brands.

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager who can take this vision to the next level.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be the growth engine of Filmy Fiction — identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and converting prospects into anchor clients. This role demands someone who is equally strategic and hands-on : able to open doors, confidently present our capabilities, and secure both retainer relationships and high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

Drive

new client acquisition

across sectors such as fashion, fintech, lifestyle, healthcare, real estate, and tech.

Develop and

nurture long-term relationships

with marketing heads, brand managers, and agencies.

Pitch and present Filmy Fiction’s capabilities with confidence and clarity — “sell the company, not just the film.”

Secure

retainer contracts

(₹6–15L / month) and recurring ad / film projects (ads ≥ ₹5L, films ≥ ₹25L).

Expand revenue across two key lanes :

Ad Pods

(scalable monthly ads) and

Premium Films

(prestige brand stories).

Research competitors, market trends, and client needs to

craft tailored proposals .

Ensure a healthy sales pipeline with weekly cold opens, meetings, and follow-ups.

Work closely with the Founder / Director and creative team to align business strategy with production capacity.

What We’re Looking For

4–8 years of experience in

business development / sales

in advertising, media, or production.

Strong network of

brand / agency decision-makers

(marketing heads, CMOs, agencies, etc.).

Proven ability to close

retainer deals and high-ticket projects .

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset — someone who enjoys building and scaling, not just maintaining.

Resilient, self-driven, and comfortable with targets.

A passion for films, advertising, and storytelling (bonus if you love both art and commerce).
