Role Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for our General Staffing vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the Engineering / Manufacturing sectors and a proven ability to engage with HR leaders and top-level decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic client relationships.
- Engage with HR departments and senior management to understand staffing needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of major clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Support hiring teams in fulfilling client requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Achieve Gross Profit (GP) targets through proactive sales and client engagement.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Conduct strategic workforce planning to increase closure volumes.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and adherence to client timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business goals with client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in Staffing & Recruitment.Strong understanding of the Engineering / Manufacturing industry.Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a strong work ethic.Experience in strategic planning and consultative selling.Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience in General Staffing or Contract Staffing.Exposure to large-scale hiring projects and volume recruitment.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
