Associate (Mediation)
Role Overview :
The Associate (Mediation) will be responsible for supporting mediation and dispute resolution initiatives, managing mediation cases, coordinating with mediators and clients, and contributing to the development of online dispute resolution (ODR) programs. This role involves research, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to advance innovative mediation practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Learn and understand the concepts of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR).
Drive new projects and initiatives related to mediation, ODR, trainings, and institutional collaborations.
Conduct research on emerging mediation models and contribute to knowledge-sharing and thought leadership.
Administer and manage mediation cases efficiently through the organization’s ODR platform.
Provide case coordination and communication support to mediators and disputing parties.
Collaborate with leadership to design, plan, and execute innovative mediation programs.
Gather insights and feedback from users and mediators to improve processes and platform features.
Build and maintain strong networks with mediators, partner institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Coordinate mediator empanelment, training sessions, and engagement activities.
Represent the organization at external mediation-related events, dialogues, and forums.
Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB / LLM).
1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in ADR / ODR or related legal fields.
Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in word processing and documentation tools (e.g., MS Word).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to evolving challenges.
A passion for promoting accessible, fair, and people-centric dispute resolution.
