About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced PHP Team Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance web applications. This role requires not only strong technical expertise in PHP and modern frameworks but also proven leadership skills to mentor developers, manage project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on engineer and a strategic thinker who can ensure quality, innovation, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of PHP developers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Architect and implement web applications using PHP (7.x / 8.x) and modern frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Enforce best practices in OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful API design, and secure coding standards.
• Oversee integration of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, jQuery, Vue.js / React) with backend services.
• Implement CI / CD workflows, manage version control with Git, and ensure smooth deployments (Docker or containerized environments preferred).
• Contribute to system design, architecture reviews, and code reviews, ensuring technical excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) within the development team.
• Monitor team performance, assign tasks effectively, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), DevOps practices, and PHP ecosystem advancements.
