Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform manual / functional testing of wealth and asset management applications, platforms, and APIs.
• Validate features such as portfolio management, order management, compliance, risk, access control, holdings segregation, client onboarding, reporting, and performance bench marking .
• Identify, log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development and product teams.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide input on test coverage and scenarios.
• Support in creating test documentation, requirement traceability matrix (RTM), and test closure reports .
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy, and security requirements .

Requirements

4–8 years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years in Asset & Wealth Management domain. Strong knowledge of financial products : equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, derivatives, structured products, etc. Understanding portfolio management, order execution, settlement, custody, compliance, and client reporting processes. Experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and UAT). Good exposure to API testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST / SOAP services). Familiarity with SQL / database queries for data validation. Exposure to tools such as JIRA, ALM, QC, or TestRail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business users. Good to Have (Optional) Basic automation testing exposure (Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent). Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology. ISTQB or similar QA certification.
