Job Title : Senior Backend Engineer – Python & Microservices (IC Role)

Location : Remote

Employment Type : Full-time

Experience : 7+ years

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who excels in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Python and microservices architecture . In this individual contributor role, you’ll lead backend service design, API development, and system optimization for enterprise-grade platforms. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, high-performance backend systems from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement distributed microservices and APIs using Python.
  • Develop scalable data models with SQL / NoSQL databases.
  • Integrate monitoring, logging, and automation tools for system reliability.
  • Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Ensure performance, security, and fault tolerance across services.

Must-Have Skills :

  • 7+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
  • Expertise in microservices , Docker , Kubernetes , AWS .
  • Experience with SQL / NoSQL , Kafka / SQS / RabbitMQ .
  • Proficient in CI / CD , Terraform / Jenkins / GitHub Actions .
