What do you need to do (Role and Responsibilities) :
- Create (Source, license, produce, blend) captivating and addictive sound effects (SFX) tracks for our
- Work with severe restrictions on the size of music files. Mobile games must be as lean (lower the MB the better) as possible to help rapid downloads, and not consume too much memory when played. (We use music and SFX in .OGG file format in our games to maintain minimum file size.)
- Work closely with the Product Manager / Creative team and supply them with a constant stream of music, soundtracks, and SFX for their requirements and also proactively suggest your ideas.
- Play tons of competition mobile games. Our aspiration is to produce original music for our game! (!)
- Work with your team of music editors and game programmers to sync your music with the game tech perfectly.
- Keep informed about the latest advances in mobile friendly music and underlying technology, and standards to use for Android and iOS.
- Have an eye for perfection and a burning desire to improve with every release.
- Organize and manage all audio files and assets, ensuring they are optimized for the platform (i.e., compressed for mobile use without sacrificing quality).
- Maintain an audio library for reusable assets across different games or projects.
- Conduct audio testing on various mobile devices and identify and resolve audio bugs and issues.
Who could you be (Experience and Background) :
2+ years of Music and Audio design experience.You MUST have mobile music experience, ideally working with games developed in UnityShould be a self-starter and capable of managing teams tasks and deliverables.Natural curiosity and creativity with the ability to explore new ideas and learn from external sources.An exceptional portfolio featuring examples of your sound and music design capabilities.Someone who LOVES mobile games!
Educational Qualification :
Graduate from a reputed institute.A music degree background would be preferred.Skills Required
