Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange has an opportunity for a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Manager. In this role, the selected candidate will have significant leadership accountability with focus on data-driven performance, customer-focused approach, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance ownership, and strong business partnering.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable transactions and activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and conformance to company policies.
- Investigating, researching, and resolving escalated issues or concerns pertaining to customer accounts.
- Manages accounts receivable team by effectively allocating responsibilities, providing timely and constructive performance feedback, and ensuring established service level agreements are met.
- Collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Tax, GL, Billing) to ensure activities are being executed in a streamlined and succinct fashion.
- Leverages reports and analytics to monitor team performance and productivity and identifies areas of improvement and enhancement recommendations.
- Assisting in evaluating, creating and implementing changes to improve departmental policies, procedures and controls to systems and processes.
- Participates in project-based assignments that stem from acquisitions, system migrations, and / or process improvement activities.
- Gaining deep understanding of business processes and key systems and tools.
- Recruits and hires qualified AR personnel and trains / evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product.
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field.12+ years of Accounts Payable management experience at a large, multi-national company within a high-volume shared services environment.Must have large ERP experience such as Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoftProficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.Must have strong analytical skills, be organized, results-oriented and have proven management skills.Must have the ability to assess, analyze, and solve problems as well as prioritize tasks in a fluid environment.Candidate must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills for interacting with internal colleagues, clients, and senior management.Proven experience in fast-paced work environments and has the flexibility and adaptability to handle various job assignments.Prior experience managing a team of 10+ individuals is strongly preferred.Skills Required
