Our team works closely with in-house counsel and external advocates to resolve high-value corporate and commercial disputes within tight timelines.
Role Description – Legal Intern (On-site, Bengaluru)
This is a full-time, on-site internship role for a Legal Intern at PayAssured, based in Bengaluru.
You will work directly with our legal and recovery teams and be involved in :
- Conducting legal research on MSME law, SARFAESI Act, company law, corporate, commercial and contract laws.
- Assisting in drafting and issuing legal notices, recall notices, settlement proposals, and other recovery-related communications.
- Supporting alternative dispute resolution (ADR) efforts, including pre-litigation negotiation, mediation-oriented communication, and settlement documentation.
- Assisting with title searches and property due-diligence checks for secured assets and supporting documentation for SARFAESI and other enforcement actions.
- Coordinating with external advocates and internal recovery teams to fast-track legal action, hearings, and overall case movement.
- Preparing and maintaining case files, trackers, and document bundles for notices, ADR proceedings, and commercial suits.
- Ensuring accurate records, proper handling of confidential information, and compliance with internal processes.
This role offers hands-on exposure to real recovery matters, from first demand to litigation, under close guidance from senior advocates and the core team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in law, particularly in :MSME law, SARFAESI Act, and corporate, commercial and contract laws.Demonstrated interest or experience in :Legal consulting, dispute resolution, and enforcement / recovery work.ADR mechanisms (negotiation, mediation, settlements) and commercial litigation.Proficiency in legal document preparation, including :Drafting notices, replies, settlement proposals, and recovery-related communications with attention to detail.Ability to conduct legal research, title searches, and basic property due-diligence checks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong coordination, follow-through, and ability to work with external advocates and internal business teams.High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or currently pursuing a law degree from a recognized institution. Final-year or penultimate-year students will be preferred.
