Job description

Key Responsibilities : Design & Development :

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications on Azure Cloud.
Implement cloud-native solutions using microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
Develop APIs, integrations, and services leveraging RESTful standards.

Technical Leadership :

Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and direction to development teams.

Promote best practices in coding standards, performance optimization, and security.

Drive architectural discussions, solution reviews, and decision-making processes.

Hands-On Development :

Work with Java (functional programming), Scala, and Python to build and deliver solutions.

Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

Collaboration & Delivery

Partner with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.

Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

DevOps & CI / CD

Champion modern DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code, automated deployments, and monitoring.

Work with CI / CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.

Monitor and optimize application performance, resilience, and security in production environments.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong experience in developing and deploying applications on Azure Cloud.

Proficiency in Java (functional programming), Scala, and Python.

Hands-on expertise with microservices, event-driven systems, and REST APIs.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Strong understanding of system design, distributed computing, and cloud-native patterns.

Leadership & Professional Skills

2+ years of experience in leading teams or acting as a technical lead.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to influence, mentor, and motivate cross-functional Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
