Job Title : Terraform Engineer

Experience : 6+ Years

Bill Rate : ₹1.5 LPM

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Terraform Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt, managing multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and integrating IaC workflows with CI / CD pipelines.

You will work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure—ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesOverall Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Terraform scripts for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
Implement best practices for Terraform code structure, security, and reusability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure automation, compliance, and performance.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Document Terraform modules, workflows, and automation processes.
Provide support for infrastructure troubleshooting and debugging.

Technical Responsibilities

Develop Terraform and Terragrunt scripts to manage resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Manage Terraform state files and remote backends (Terraform Cloud, AWS S3 + DynamoDB).

Integrate Terraform with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).

Implement security policies using IAM roles, encryption, and compliance controls.

Troubleshoot Terraform-related deployment and infrastructure issues.

Contribute to policy management using Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Sentinel.

CI / CD Tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline

Monitoring & Observability : Prometheus, Datadog

Policy Management : Sentinel, Open Policy Agent (OPA)

Preferred Experience

Proven experience developing and managing Terraform-based cloud infrastructure.

Strong understanding of IaC principles and multi-cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Hands-on experience with CI / CD integration for infrastructure automation.

Experience working in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).

Familiarity with cloud security policies and compliance standards.
