Position Summary
A leading multi-specialty healthcare institution in the Caribbean is seeking an experienced Neurologist to join its expanding clinical team. The role involves providing comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, and management for adult patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You will work closely with emergency medicine, internal medicine, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and headache disorders.
- Lead inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology services.
- Oversee stroke management, including acute intervention and multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other clinicians for integrated patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment protocols aligned with current best practices.
- Train and mentor medical staff and residents in neurological care.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to hospital quality standards.
Qualifications
MD / DM / DNB / MS in Neurology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience.Valid medical license to practice (or eligibility for licensing in the Caribbean).Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in neurology.Skills & Competencies
