Position : Estimation Engineer

Job Location : Halol 5 days working (Time 8 : 00 to 5 : 00 PM)

Role Summary :

Estimating Engineer helps in estimating the cost of the project after research and gathering all the relevant details about the project. An estimating engineer helps the company in giving high level services and ensures right pricing to the customer for securing future business and customer retention.

Reports to : Head - Estimation Engineering

Qualification :

B.E. Mechanical / Industrial / Production Experience : Minimum 3-12 Years in any manufacturing or fabrication industry in estimation / sales / design (optional)

Skill required :

Should know how to use Excel and AutoCAD efficiently. Understanding of engineering drawings. Should be able to work on government portals and software.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure high productivity and efficiency through continuous improvements.
  • Support a high level of cooperation between all involved parties, internal and external.
  • Cultivate a management style which regards all employees as partners in a team.
  • Maintain the company's Corporate Identity through corresponding personal behavior.
  • Responsible for managing tenders and inquiries, including preparation of pre-qualification documents, cost estimations, and final quotations.
  • Reviews and analyzes project specifications, coordinates with clients, sales, design, purchase, and operations teams for missing data, material availability, and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Handles supplier inquiries, technical and commercial negotiations, and cost comparison studies.
  • Prepares and reviews GADs, QAPs, and order release forms post-PO.
  • Ensures timely project execution, delivery coordination, and documentation compliance as per ISO standards.
  • Engages in cost optimization, risk assessment, and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintains supplier records and liaises with clients for approvals and clarifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and MS Excel , with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Requires solid technical and analytical skills , knowledge of estimating techniques , and familiarity with government portals and software .
  • Must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities , along with strong commercial awareness .
  • Attention to detail, organizational capability, and effective project management skills are essential to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
