Key Responsibilities :
- Implementation & Configuration : Lead and participate in the configuration and customization of core SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Integration : Ensure seamless and robust integration between SAP CO and other key modules, primarily FI (Financial Accounting), SD (Sales and Distribution), and MM (Materials Management).
- Process Design : Analyze complex business requirements related to controlling, budgeting, planning, and reporting, and design optimal solutions in SAP CO.
- Product Costing Expertise : Deep hands-on experience in both Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order environments, including material ledger, cost estimates, and variance analysis.
- Reporting & Analysis : Configure and enhance custom and standard SAP CO reports to meet management reporting needs and support financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Support & Documentation : Provide expert functional support, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation (e.g., blueprints, configuration guides, test scripts).
- Testing & Training : Develop test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and conduct training sessions for end-users and power users.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP CO Functional Consultant.Mandatory in-depth expertise in configuring and implementing at least three of the following sub-modules : CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-IO, CO-PC, and CO-PA.Proven experience with CO-PA configuration (both costing-based and accounting-based), including derivation rules and operating concern setup.Strong understanding of Period-End Closing activities in CO and reconciliation with FI.Excellent knowledge of SAP FI / CO integration points and financial accounting principles.Experience in working with technical teams (ABAP) for custom enhancements and user exits in the CO area(ref : hirist.tech)
