Job Specification :

Looking for a creative, and technically sharp professional who combines deep SQL expertise with AI integration in day-to-day workflows.
While thinking in queries he / she should automate their tasks using AI tools instead of traditional approach.
Will be working alongside data scientists and engineering team to architect scalable database solutions, streamline schema documentation, and accelerate reporting workflows using both SQL and AI-driven strategies.

Job Description & Org Chart

Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to automate :

Query generation and performance tuning

Schema exploration and ER diagram creation

Data dictionary and metadata documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient, production-ready SQL

Develop stored procedures, views, and performance-optimized scripts for dashboards and ETL processes

Build AI-integrated pipelines to reduce development time and improve query accuracy

Contribute to prompt engineering for advanced database operations

Partner with engineers to embed AI in database lifecycle tasks-from schema management to index optimization

Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team

Knowledge sharing with the team to adopt best practices

Actively contribute to and re-use community best practices.

Desired Skills :

4-5 years of experience in SQL development, Indexing and performance optimization

Strong foundation in relational database design, normalization, ER modeling and query tuning

Writing reusable logic for business rules

Using execution plans, indexing strategies, and profiling tools

Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, OpenAI or similar for data tasks.

Prompt engineering, using LLMs for query generation and documentation.

Role-based access, encryption, GDPR awareness

Excellent communication skills to document and present technical logic clearly

Expertise in standard software engineering methodology, e.g. unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation

Ensuring data accuracy and query reliability

Prioritizing tasks across multiple projects
