Job description

Beckhoff implements open automation systems using proven PC-based control technology. The main areas that the product range covers are industrial PCs, I / O and fieldbus components, drive technology, automation software, control cabinet-free automation, and hardware for machine vision.

We are a representative office in Pune, India, and we are actively expanding our team and looking for a suitable software engineer.

Responsibilities

developing communication and visualization libraries using PLC and HTML / JS CSS frameworks for different industry verticals
design and develop machine HMI applications according to customer specifications
offering Standard and Custom training to support Beckhoff Products and Projects
working with international teams and customers
documentation and Recording of all project activities
represent the organization in a professional, ethical and socially responsible manner
maintain a high degree of relevant technical knowledge in order to fulfil the listed job responsibilities
advise customers on proper technology selection, use, maintenance and training for specific applications

Qualifications

B.E. / B Tech ( E&TC, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics)

3 to 4 years of work experience

experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, including (object oriented extensions), C#, C++, etc. Python, JS, objective C-Programming knowledge

understanding of HMI technologies, knowledge of CSS, HTML and Javascript

working with Application development frameworks such as .Net, QT etc.; understanding of web development frameworks such as Asp .NET, nodeJS etc. is a plus

self-starter with a results driven personality, and focus on skill upgradation

strong analytical and reasoning skills to collaborate in a fast-paced, action oriented team

ability to work in a high stress environment while maintaining professionalism

previous technical training and / or Beckhoff Automation experience

motion control experience is a plus

excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to customers, companywide, and / or departmental meetings in English
