ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Cloud Data Engineer (Kubernetes / Trino) , you'll play a key role in building a scalable, secure Trino platform that enables efficient access to Azure Data Lake across multiple teams. You'll design and deploy high-availability AKS clusters, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and integrate modern authentication and observability tools. This role offers the opportunity to shape a production-grade, multi-tenant data service in a forward-thinking, cloud-first engineering environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deploy and scale Trino clusters on Azure AKS with HA setup;
• Configure secure access to Azure Data Lake via SQL endpoint;
• Implement multi-tenancy and workload isolation for multiple team use;
• Integrate Azure AD / modern auth for user and service identity management;
• Collaborate on observability : metrics, logs, distributed tracing;
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across networking, authentication, and workloads;
• Manage infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps pipelines;
• Contribute to internal governance, security review, and cost approval processes.
