About the Role :
The Agency Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing insurance agents to drive business growth for Star Health Insurance. The role involves achieving sales targets through agency channels, ensuring agent productivity, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :
- Recruit, train, and develop insurance agents to build a productive sales team.
- Drive business growth through agency channel by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor and support agents in generating new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance for improving productivity.
- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI regulations, and ethical business practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Motivate and engage agents through incentive programs and recognition initiatives.
- Coordinate with branch and regional teams for smooth business operations.
Required Skillsets :
Strong knowledge of health insurance and related financial products (motor insurance, personal loans, credit cards preferred).Proven ability in agent recruitment, training, and business development.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong sales orientation with a focus on achieving targets.Good understanding of local market dynamics and customer preferences.Ability to motivate and manage a team of agents effectively.Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting and communication.(ref : iimjobs.com)
