Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage day-to-day financial operations at Rentkar. You’ll be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, GST / Tax compliance, and ensuring smooth financial reporting. This role is critical to keeping Rentkar’s fast-growing operations financially sound and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations : bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable / receivable and vendor / client payments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are filed accurately and on time.
Coordinate with auditors, CA firms, and internal teams for financial audits.
Monitor cash flow, expense reports, and budget adherence.
Support management with MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in accounting / finance (startup / e-commerce background preferred).
Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliances.
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial reporting.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree (CA Inter / CS Semi-qualified is a plus).
