Team : Hosted Pages | Chargebee

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosted Pages team – the team responsible for building the UI / UX layer on top of our core billing and payment APIs. This is a full-stack engineering role with a strong emphasis on Java / Spring backend and Vue / React / Angular frontend development.

You’ll be working on creating powerful yet easy-to-use customer experiences for our clients across the subscription lifecycle — from checkout to account management. Our mission is to make subscription workflows low-code, fast, and delightful for businesses.

What You’ll Do

Build, enhance, and scale full-stack features that directly impact the customer experience.

Translate product requirements into clean, high-quality code across backend and frontend.

Take ownership of modules end-to-end — from implementation to production support.

Work closely with designers and PMs to ensure a high-quality delivery.

Optimize performance, scalability, and security of the applications.

Contribute to team best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For

4–6 years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Java / Spring on the backend.

Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework like React, Vue, or Angular.

Comfort working with microservices and REST APIs.

Solid debugging skills and attention to detail in both frontend and backend.

A product mindset — you care about the why as much as the how.

Good understanding of performance, observability, and clean code principles.

Bonus : Experience working on checkout flows, billing, or customer portals.
