We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to senior secondary students, fostering a love for literature and language, and preparing students for their examinations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Curriculum Development : Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Instruction : Teach English literature, language, and composition skills to students in grades [specify grades].
• Assessment : Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams; provide constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management : Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Support and Guidance : Provide academic support and guidance to students, addressing their learning needs.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Professional Development : Stay updated on teaching methodologies, educational technology, and literature trends; participate in professional development opportunities.
• Communication : Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent; M.P.Ed preferred B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification advantageous Prior experience teaching P.E or sports in a school setting preferred (at least 1‑2 years) Knowledge of multiple sports and fitness training methods Good communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, patient, motivating, with ability to manage groups of students Understanding of safety, first aid during sports / physical activities
