gcp data engineer

We are seeking a GCP Data Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , BigQuery, Looker, Data Lake / DWH / ETL, and SQL Cloud Migration . The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and extensive experience in these areas, coupled with excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• GCP Data Solution Design & Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
• BigQuery & Data Warehousing : Work extensively with BigQuery for data warehousing, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency for large datasets.
• Data Lake / DWH / ETL : Implement and manage Data Lake / Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions and build efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
• SQL Expertise : Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
• Cloud Migration : Participate in and lead Cloud Migration initiatives, specifically migrating data solutions to GCP.
• Business Intelligence Integration : Utilize Looker for data visualization and business intelligence, integrating with underlying data sources.
• Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and other engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Problem Solving : Apply excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex data challenges.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within GCP.
